Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

Last updated October 17, 2026

1. Who this covers

IB Billing (“IB Billing”, “we”, “us”) operates a cloud platform that lets internet service providers (“Operators”, “you”) manage MikroTik-based WiFi/hotspot networks, sell data and time packages to their own end customers (“Subscribers”), and collect payment for those sales through supported payment processors. By creating an account you agree to these terms on behalf of the business you represent.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials confidential. You’re responsible for all activity under your account, including actions taken by staff you invite. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Fees and billing

IB Billing charges a flat 2% platform fee on Subscriber sales you process through the platform. Fees are totalled into a monthly invoice. If an invoice remains unpaid past its grace period, we may restrict access to parts of the admin dashboard until it’s settled — your Billing page always stays reachable so you can pay it. We may suspend or terminate accounts with invoices that remain significantly overdue.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers (currently Paystack, Flutterwave, and MTN Mobile Money, with more planned). IB Billing does not see or store full card numbers or mobile money PINs — those are entered directly with the payment provider. We store transaction references, amounts, and status to reconcile your account.

5. Acceptable use

  • Don’t use the platform for fraud, illegal reselling of connectivity, or to violate a Subscriber’s rights.
  • You’re responsible for complying with the telecom and consumer-protection laws that apply to your own business and Subscribers.
  • Don’t attempt to interfere with, probe, or circumvent the platform’s security.

6. Your data

You retain ownership of your business data and your Subscribers’ data. We process it on your behalf to provide the service, as described in the Privacy section below.

7. Availability and liability

We aim for high uptime but provide the platform “as is,” without guaranteeing uninterrupted service, unless we’ve agreed to a specific service level with you in writing. To the extent permitted by law, IB Billing isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the platform fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or have significantly overdue invoices. On termination, we’ll give you a reasonable window to export your data before it’s deleted.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We’ll let you know about material changes; continuing to use IB Billing after they take effect means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana.

Privacy Policy

11. What we collect

  • Account data: your business name, admin name and email, and a hashed password.
  • Subscriber data: phone number, email, or name that a Subscriber gives when redeeming a voucher or paying for a package.
  • Network data: router identifiers, session, and usage information needed to run billing, data caps, and reporting.
  • Payment data: transaction references, amounts, and status from our payment processors — never full card numbers or mobile money PINs.

12. How we use it

To operate the platform, process payments, send transactional emails and SMS (verification links, password resets, expiry notices, receipts), detect fraud or abuse, and improve the service.

13. Who we share it with

Payment processors (to complete transactions), SMS and email delivery providers (to send messages on your behalf), and authorities where required by law. We don’t sell personal data.

14. Retention and security

We keep data for as long as your account is active, and afterward only as needed for legal or accounting purposes. Sensitive credentials and payment-gateway secrets are encrypted at rest. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data appropriately.

15. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account’s data by contacting us below. If you’re a Subscriber with a question about how an Operator is using your data, please contact that Operator directly — they control their own Subscriber relationships, and we process that data on their behalf.
